Sand Creek Campground is open from April 15 to October 15 every year.

What is there to do in the area to keep my family entertained?

Do you have cabins? Are they “fully featured” cabins?

Yes, we do offer a number of primitive cabins. However, these are PRIMITIVE cabins, not fully featured resort-style cabins. These cabins feature a small living and sleeping space only – they offer no bathroom or kitchen facilities nor any kitchen amenities (i.e., dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, shower, toilet, etc.).

When is your pool open?

Generally, our pool is open from the second week in June until Labor Day. However, it is an unheated outdoor pool, so temperatures may vary. If you like excitement, you may find the pool to be enjoyable in our early or late season periods. Otherwise, you may want to wait until the weather is consistently warm to heat the water to a comfortable bathing temperature. Please abide by posted pool hours and rules at all times.

I am planning a cookout and campfire with some friends in the area. Is this allowed?

Sure it is! But we do ask that all visitors register at the campground office upon entry into the campground and pay the required guest registration fee ($3.00/Adult, $2.00/Child). All visitors must depart the campground by 11:00PM.

When are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time is 1:00PM daily and check-out time is 12:00PM daily.

*An extra $5.00 will be charged for early check-in and late check-out.

If I am visiting the campground over the Fourth of July weekend, can we bring fireworks?

Fireworks of any kind, including “sparklers” are NOT PERMITTED on campground property. If you are visiting over a holiday weekend, please note our holiday arrival/departure times, security surcharge and required two day stay. Holiday weekend reservation fees are non-refundable.

I have a 35 foot R.V. Can you accommodate my visit?

I always take my dog on all of our camping trips. Are dogs permitted at your campground?

Sure they are! We welcome dogs at Sand Creek Campground, but please be aware of the $1.00 per night dog surcharge. Additionally, be mindful of our dog policies:

• All dogs must be on leashes at all times.
• Pet excreta must be cleaned up immediately.
• Absolutely no animals are allowed in the general store, washrooms, pool area, or any other campground buildings.
• Pets which make excessive noise or show any signs of being dangerous will not be allowed.
• Pit Bulls, Dobermans, and similar large and potentially dangerous dogs are NOT permitted in the campground at any time

I plan on visiting with my youth group.
Do you offer group rates?

Yes we do! Group rates are available – please contact us for details. Church groups are welcome to use our church facility at a minimal additional charge. In fact, in the early days of the campground, the Moody Bible Institute once owned the property and used it as their Indiana camp retreat. This great Christian heritage continues with our many Christian visitors today!
